Built in 1959 by entrepreneur Lou Ranallo, Mont Clare Lanes has stood at the corner of Harlem and Belmont on Chicago’s Northwest side for more than 50 years. 
The 32-lane center still features above-lane ball returns and an underground parking lot, remnants of the ’50s. However modern touches like automatic scoring and cosmic bowling have been added over the years to balance the retro with the new.
Across the way, the large banquet hall can accommodate up to 400 guest for occasions like fundraisers, holiday parties, baby showers, cotillions and weddings.
The homemade food is continually ranked among the best in the city- from homemade pizza served in the bowl side to the multiple-course dinners served in the upscale banquets.
As comfortable as a neighborhood tavern, Mont Clare Lanes is the perfect place to visit, whether it’s for a few beers with your friends or your kid’s 10th birthday party.
